Dr. Taylor grew up living between several small towns in Indiana, Illinois, and Japan.
She has always had a passion for service and knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, specifically working with pregnant mommas and babies. She attended Butler University triple majoring in Biology, Chemistry, and German with the intention of going to medical school for Obstetrics.
While in school, she recognized the incongruence between what was being taught vs what she knew from her own experience. There was an emphasis on the need for outside measures, such as pharmaceuticals, to achieve health. She knew this was untrue based on how she was raised, which was that health started from the inside out.
She was blessed to have been under chiropractic care since childhood, with multiple chiropractors in her family. She didn’t realize the impact it had on her, since she thought it was normal to always have a chiropractor. She realized that she wanted to share knowledge about the immense healing power of the body and provide the care, since she knew it was essential for vitality.
After acknowledging this, she immediately transferred to Life University in Georgia, where she deepened her knowledge about Innate Intelligence and its role in the body and in the world. Her passion to share this information and educate the community grew exponentially with everything she learned. She was aware that this information was not common knowledge, although it needed to be. She believed that everyone had a right to know about and experience the infinite healing capabilities and wisdom in their own bodies.
Upon graduating, she practiced in Tucson, AZ before being guided to Nexus.
Dr. Taylor has a dog, Maya, that she loves to hike and explore with. She also loves to travel, experience new things, snowboard, golf, jet ski, water ski, paddle board, read, and explore new passions.
